We had a fountain water bowl for a while but it broke. He will meow until I turn the water on for him

Fountain water bombs are cheap af. If you still have the mount of the old one, look if the common one are compatible, or make your own.

When mine broke out I bought one of this for 5us and replaced it.

Yep, my cats love our cheapish one. I recently took it apart completely to deep clean it and it's a simple system with easy to replace parts.
