Explanation: Alexander the Great, known for his great sense of humility, named or renamed numerous cities after himself ("Alexandria") in the course of his conquests.

Also creative, though, because at the first they would have been like "no he wouldn't" and then he would have done it so every time it would have been a bit scandalous and new and stuff.
