It's so weird that dogs' eyebrows work the same as ours do, and can express exactly what emotion they are feeling.

I read once that the eyebrows might be a result of domestication. Wolves don't have the same facial muscles that dogs do and it makes sense that ancient humans would prefer dogs they can relate to emotionally.

Iirc, more human-compatible body language is an indicator/result of domestication. Dogs are actually a great example of this, as the wolves they were bred from aren't nearly as emotive (Well, emotive in a way humans can understand intuitively. They're of course very social with each other)
