High CHA and immunity to disease, and their gods are pagan-style, not monotheism-style. You can probably argue yourself into thinking that most of the gods are compatible with celibate or "no sex before marriage" paladins, but it doesn't necessarily make more sense than promiscuous paladins!
Divine casters are just warlocks with a pyramid scheme shoehorned into the middle...
It's more an organization of like-minded individuals that get issued kinky uniforms
