I don’t think I realized how emotionally connected I was to this little guy. As I look around, there are so many things that remind me of him. I miss him very much. But I’m grateful that we got to throw him an 18th birthday, and we even took him cabin camping with us, which he reluctantly enjoyed lol.

Senior kitties are so special to me. I lost my girl a year ago in August. She was with me for 18 years, from the day she was born to the day she died. It still hurts... but it's better than it was.

She had a senior older brother who I adopted about a year before she was born. His name was The Colonel. They loved each other so much.
