I was casually browsing on it today and now all profile pics showing a penis are blurred so you must upload a face pic to unblur the pictures.

Anyway, that means you can't browse profiles without disclosing your identity using incognito mode. At the same time it means your actual photo is now illegally being collected by a shitty company because there's no such law in Washington state dictating that websites must blur content if not presented with a photo to match to photo ID. The website says that they will use your photo to match with your ID....who gave this company access to everyone's IDs?

Anyway I could not screen shoot it from incognito, but maybe one of you fine awesome people could?

So I got home and was taking off my makeup. In the mirror I saw a girl taking off her makeup, and I thought, I wish that was me.

Hi fellow BitD-ers! I am currently learning the system and started a solo campaign (don't judge me on that lol), two sessions in I finally have a reasonably good understanding of how different mechanics work. However, I did not manage to find some clear information about how flashbacks are supposed to work:

• How far or close in time can a player flashback to? IIUC, the whole mechanics is supposed to replace the tedious prep phase and taking some decisions before the actual mission. Can it be a flashback to a point in time before even knowing what the mission would be ("Several years ago I hid some tools in this prison, just in case")? Could it be to a moment during the mission ("In fact, I set some papers on fire before leaving the previous room so it should cause some panic and confusion among guards"). I did this last one on my first session and, given the fact that I am my own GM and my only player, I was pretty happy about that. However, I do not know how canon it is to the RAW.
• If I understand correctly, a flashback should always cost 1 stress. Hmmm, should it? I read every now and then that people only apply stress in some cases (bad flashback roll, very difficult task, etc.). I cannot find anything in RAW about it, are people just massively homebrewing that?
• I also see a lot of GMs saying that flashbacks should never fail and a bad roll should result in a complication (heat, stress, bad position) but not in a missed opportunity for a good player's idea. Once again, I cannot wrap my head around that in RAW, it seems to me that a flashback just calls for a roll and is interpreted as any other action.

I keep thinking about the experience of feeling body envy towards cis women. Since I cracked my egg I've started to notice I have two distinct sets of feelings towards cis women, which can sometimes overlap, one being romantic/sexual desire and the other being envy for their body and femininity. I think for a long time I conflated those feelings and thought I felt sexual desire towards women who really I just wanted to be, and at other yet more unfortunate times didn't recognize my sexual desire for someone as such due to the lack of envy. It's made me wonder how much of my sexual life and awakening has been colored by my desire to be the women I thought I just wanted to bone. Definitely some at least.

A while ago, Maze hurt her ear. Since then we've been giving her all kinds of medication. Obviously things aren't pristine, but she's doing way better and her wheezing has nearly disappeared!

This little scaredy cat got into the warehouse in which I work, and someone had to save her so I did. I recently asked about integrating her into my house with my 2y old cat.

So far, she's been quarantined in a separate room, she's got a bite on her foot I wasn't told about that looks partially healed, but still not great, and so I'll have to figure that out first. I have a cone on the way to stop her from licking at it until I can get her to the vet (who was supposed to email me yesterday...c'mon guys kitty need help!) Unclear if the bite came from one of the dogs inside the warehouse, or (lord I hope not, but...honestly I think so..), the raccoon she was spotted near a few days before she gained entry to the warehouse. I have a pic if anyone wants to see it, but it looks like a lil puncture wound (not exactly cute) so I'm only going to if someone requests 'cause they wanna help (as much help as that can be, need the vet for sure but advice is always welcome in the meantime!!)

She's terrified, but, that's probably normal? I mean, she's a wounded stray captured in a humane trap and then was fostered in a bathroom for a while until I got her in her own room. It's been like 26hr since I got her here, I'd be scared too. That said, she'll hiss and hiss but won't bite or scratch, when she hisses I'll pause and slow blink, then keep going, when I reach her she'll let me pet her, pick her up, starts purring and rubbing her face into the pets, y'know, cat stuff. So, pretty good? Idk! I've only adopted from humane rescues so far this is kiiiinda my first "found it in a dumpster" cat.

My tubby kitty, resident idiot... Idk if she's even noticed, despite the new kitten using her separate box (clearly "smells" involved there wafting under the door) and she definitely heard her meowing at me (begging for release into the wild) about 1h ago. Doesn't seem to care at all, who knows with this dingus! Maybe they'll become fast friends when they see each other, here's hoping!
