Hi y’all! Do you have any advice on how to start building a wardrobe of femme clothing?

I’m starting to feel braver and want to start wearing girl clothes out in public more. The problem is 1) I have next to no girl clothes, just the few affirming things I wear around the house, and 2) I am overwhelmed by the amount of options I have and don’t know where to start.

Historically, I’ve dressed more workwear (flannel, denim, leather) in the winter, and more normcore (solid color tees and chino shorts) in the summer.

I’m not sure how to translate those into feminine clothes, if I even want to. I really more so want to take the opportunity to find a more expressive style (I always disliked how few options men are given when it comes to fashion), but I still feel like I need a few kind of “core” outfits that I can easily mix and match, like a capsule wardrobe.

I also expect there to be an awkward phase as my body changes and I start to figure out my style, but I’d prefer to not make any glaring faux pas either.

Any advice is greatly appreciated 😊

I was recently a bit surprise by seeing video of RPG tables where everyone has a laptop, and I even saw a thread about whether GM allowing only paper sheet are reasonable

However, on my experience (and I am part of big club, so I interact with a lot of players), some GM have a laptop or tablet especially in the era of .pdf books, but most player would use only paper.

So I am curious what's your take on electronic device, is it fully banned at your table, a GM only tool, a stuff that some player may use for note taking ? Or do you use VTT technology like you would online when playing in person ?

This is really not a new finding, but just consistent with what was already found by previous studies, but here we go:

The report found that 98 per cent of respondents that had socially and/or medically transitioned had significantly higher levels of happiness and satisfaction.

The researchers found reasons for detransition were due predominantly to transphobia and “challenges related to social acceptance”, such as not being accepted by friends or family for being trans.

“Social and structural explanations dominated the reasons why respondents reported going back to living in their sex assigned at birth at some point,” the report read.

“Only four per cent of people who went back to living in their sex assigned at birth for a while cited that their reason was because they realized that gender transition was not for them. When considering all respondents who had transitioned, this number equates to only 0.36 per cent.”

NEW YORK (AP) — The nonprofit legal aid group Lambda Legal, which advocates for LGBTQ+ rights, has raised $285 million at a time when attacks on the rights of gay, intersex and transgender people have again intensified

Lambda Legal CEO Kevin Jennings announced the results on Thursday, saying the group exceeded its original fundraising goal by $105 million.

For context, see my initial post here.

I've made a plan with my therapist, and I'll be admitting myself. I've also been advised that given some recent behaviors and events, it's in my best interest to be evaluated for bipolar disorder or borderline personality disorder (yay ;-;). Whatever happens, I'm mentally prepared to step through the doors and allow myself to seek treatment. Maybe all I need is a change in medication, or a place where I feel safe enough to process my emotions and work through them. Regardless, I understand what to expect, and I'm confident that it's what I need right now. I can't get by just letting things happen as they are currently, because I'm only continuing to get worse without proper treatment. I'll likely make a new post when I'm discharged about my experience. See y'all on the other side.

Hello everyone,

I am sorry if my last posts/comments sounded like they were generated by a cat-lover bot. 🙈 I’m actually just me (and my two “tigers” at home), trying to share silly cat tips and stories as well as normal tips.

Lesson learned. I’m dialling back the formatting and keeping it real from now on.

Thanks for sticking with me.

Not fluid, non-binary, or agender. More like a superposition.

Binary, but also neither, and both.

I was AMAB, and presenting as female feels more natural to me, but I feel like a male and female in one body.
