hi… i’m Cyara a trans refugee in South Sudan. i’ve been really sick suffering from Malaria,typhoid and ulcers. Also within the same time, I got a very painful big cut on my finger. I had to go to a clinic and thanks to a few kind strangers who donated, i was able to cover the bill. But it left us with nothing.

it’s just me and my 3 trans sisters. we’ve been through hell here and now the government is evicting us. one of my sisters has broken completely under the pressure. she’s not okay. none of us are.

we’ve only raised $121 out of $720 for emergency shelter. i know the world is exhausted. i see what’s happening in Texas, in New Mexico, everywhere and my heart breaks. but i still need help too. just one last chance to survive.

Anyone played it? Got any tips? I realise it's pretty recent, so maybe not..

I'm about to start a session with a new gaming group (of old friends). I'm new to DMing and TTRPGs in general (have played one session of pathfinder), two of my 4 players have a fair bit of experience playing and DMing.

I realise this is way more rules-light than pathfinder, though that's probably not saying much - it also seems a fair bit lighter even than some PbtA based games I've looked at..

General advice for DMing rulse-light RPGs also welcome :)

Despite the title, I do love her. Think huge bald dude(no motorcycle though) with a tiny dog. I just think this pic hits hard.

I'll go firstt:

1: Regularly thinking that girls got all the cute clothes
2: Buying female clothes (skirt and some underwear) for "cross dressing"
3: Feeling physical pain when having to put off bought female clothes to go outside
4: Imagining yourself as the women in porn (that's why I at first though I was "just gay")
5: Being sad when thinking about trans people and realising I couldn't transition because I'm not trans
6: Absolutely suppressing every form of thought when thinking about "the trans topic" (in a way that sometimes I reflected myself and thought that I may be trans, but I 100% suppressed those thoughts knowing damn well, that this wasn't that much of a good strategy. This also included the thought "acts trans, looks trans, probably is trans", that crossed my mind after taking LSD for the first time)
7: Dissociating kinda regularly. Happened usually when reading fantasy books. Didnt realise it was dissociation until like 3 weeks ago

Probably missed some stuff but those are the most significant ones. Quite a lot of stuff are signs that appears around the last year or so.

When we first got our own home 15 years ago, the very first thing we did was adopt two kitties from the same recent litter.

Throughout those 15 years, both sisters have cemented themselves as my personal lares. Think of it as my soul cats if you will.

About two months ago however, we got some horrific news about Terra's health. I had found her collapsed and feared a stroke or spinal injury, but the bloodwork and echo at the vet were clear: cancer, already spread, suspected lymphoma due to the excessive fluid in her lungs. Red blood cell count on the verge of death - highly anemic.

The immediate prognosis was grim. The vet decided that it would be best to drain the fluid on her lungs with a syringe, though she warned us it was a stopgap measure and the fluid would eventually return. We were looking at days to a few weeks at best there.

It probably started in one of her toes because she, well, eventually self amputated that toe. The vets couldn't help with it because she was too weak for anaesthesia. So she got cortisones and painkillers instead. No use worrying about the long term effects.

Remarkably, she has since improved much beyond what we dared hope for. Two months, and she's still eating, grooming, cuddling and stealing food. Her favorite pastime these days is joining me for barbecue. While the meat cooks, she gets all the leftovers as treats. You can imagine how crazy she is about that.

I made a promise to her that if she's ever in more pain, or doesn't want to fight anymore. I would let her go gently. I wouldn't want her to suffer needlessly.

But for now, she is still here, because she still wants to be.

Since I started observing CGL on DrivethruRPG, I must admit they do put out stuff for SR. Maybe not always the best but it's not complete silence. I wish they negotiated the rights to use Horrors' plot, though
