Same thought. I had to look him up and now I'm baffled how the writer of Monsters Inc, Inside Out, and Up could be this callous. It has been over a decade, so maybe he lost that piece of himself over time to "The Industry".

Not making therapy but they’re the first ones to give an inanimate object feelings. Don’t give them money anymore. buying isnt owning pirating isn’t stealing.

Anyone who thinks Disney was ever against fascism should look up the history of EPCOT and why Walt wanted to build it

The whole rest of the plot makes a lot more sense, knowing that it was written with a gay kid in mind.
