Russell wasn't on a push lap, even though he was on the racing line.
The stewards have directed that Cat #69 failed to lift his paw when shown the blue flag, and as such impeded car 63.
Six penalty points and a €420 fine payable to Action For Road Safety added to the initial sanction.
Team Cat points out that in a prior race Russell impeded cat in nearly the exact same circumstances, but Russell received no sanctions. There is clear bias on the part of the FIA and the race stewards against Cat #69. Team Cat will be appealing the decision against Cat #69.
