His name was Jynx. He had lots of disabilities but still had a great 8 years and lived the best life. Most amazing cat I've ever had.

I spent some time this week throwing together a more formalized list of Kickstarters I'm watching. There are several interesting system-neutral ones in flight, but in terms of what's new or outgoing, it's an uneventful week, with only one campaign to highlight.

Next week should be more interesting, as there's a handful of campaigns ending during the first week of December. -- K

Her mom, a feral one who has avoided our capture, dropped Football on our porch one day and I invited her in. That was about 4 years ago.

This guy just turned one in October. He loves treats, belly rubs, and just being a general menace.

I took this a few years back at an outdoor dinner at this restaurant in the hills in Tuscany. Dude hopped up and sat in front of the wine list. Best dinner guest ever!

Real therapy cat vibes.

She died about 10 years ago. I love and have loved all the pets I've ever had, but Pyxel was something special. She was very headstrong and did whatever she felt like, getting pissed off if you did something she didn't like. But when she was in the mood she would be the sweetest thing in the world.

She was saved from the dumpster, along with her mother and brother. The mother had to be put down and a lot of the brothers and sisters didn't make it from being dumped in a trash bag. But Pyxel and her brother made it and we adopted them from the rescue when they were very young still.

I remember Pyxel sleeping for hours in my lap, or in the cat bed on my desk. When I was working from home, she slept in the cat bed, till she got fed up, went for a drink and a snack only to get back and jump in my lap because it was her time and she would let me know it.

Still miss her every day.

Our Yule tree arrived today, we were going to wait to put it up but my son’s cat started to rip the box. So I assembled it and my void, Guenhwyvar approved. He loves the tree topper.
