So let them learn, I say. If you lock them away, the hate spreading just continues. Or then together with the people they " hate", every day, show them, that they are individuals and humans. Let them learn. If we don't do this, it'll never stop. Like other crimes.
Don't just put them in jail. Let them work with immigrants, daily, put them as a guest into mixed families, show them their wrong ways. In jail they just spread the hate even more. It's much harder to hate real individuals than unpersonalized concepts. We - as in "we all, humankind" - have to take responsibility for these things, everybody a small bit, it doesn't hurt. Just lock them away does nothing, it actually makes things worse in the long run.
