I think we should all be scared about these ruling since the supreme court has rules that you don't have control over your own body. All of these rights are based on that foundation. Fundamentally and historically Christianity has placed very little value on the human body since it temporary while the human soul is not. This has lead to many atrocities to human beings since a saved soul is worth it in the end. This mean your body does not belong to you but rather to God and therefore his people on earth. Your body Their Choice.

As a citizen of the Twin Cities metro I am glad you have found the experience better. I see lots of signs about LGBTQ+ support so I am glad it just isn't just signs.
That's the kind of thinking that DND is all about. Time to fake the entire party being disintegrated for some reason with these dust piles
Everyone loves them. They are fun to build and fun to use. I gave a ring of invisibility that can turn the ring invisible only. Great fun
We all enjoy a bonus Konsi
Every RPG group I have ever been with has used either a magic item or spell to make change purely for cosmetic reasons. This is true regardless of gender and how power gaming the group is. The Cloak of Billowing is a 5e item favorite and is usually requested at item creation or in the first magic shop. I do want to get Mask of Many Faces just for fancy dress on my next character now.
I love to do spell scrolls in a three different ways that sometimes overlap. One is spells that fill a gap in their list which is usually very similar to spells that they ask for. I encourage asking for things so I can know but don't give them everything. This is similar to spells that would be useful for the current adventure or the next one.
The other are weird or very situationally useful spells because I want to see them in play. These are just things that no one would ever pick because they are situational. These are just fun to have especially if they get them from NPCs or dead enemies. These I give out more freely
The last are thematically appropriate spells. Doing a cold themed dungeon get ready for lots of cold damage spells or other similar spells. These are kind of fun because you can get some odd balls in there as well.
I guess I love weird spells.
I love RPG and love that Kickstarter exists to make new ones. I do hate the amount of time between the idea and hype and getting a copy. I'll wait to get this in a couple of years when it's finished and I can buy it
My world always has some strange puns and other characteristics. My favorite has been the Young Mariners Cobol Abode which is mostly populated with young sailors. One player was having a real hard time to understand why everyone there was asking if "he is a friend of Dorothy" and why people seemed a little on edge. It took about 30 minutes for him to realize he was in a gay bar and everyone was confused why he was there grilling them if had met a "handsome young well dressed half orc man". They were looking for their rival and they just assumed it was his boyfriend. Everyone else slowly go to the joke and added on. Good times
That's what I thought. It made sense in context but I thought it was about something else
I thought pink washing was fake support for women's rights and rainbow washing was fake support for queer rights
As someone who lives in the Twin Cities I found this incident disturbing and I felt disappointed in the Twin Cities. I hope its out of character from what most people find in the Twin Cities. I have found that since 2016 most progressives / liberals have been working really hard to be more accepting and listening to minority communities since we obviously failed before then. However, outside the cities its been moving towards the violent MAGA republicans like the rest of nation. So obviously a lot of interactions depend on the audience.
If there is anything allies can do to support let us know. I think most people are focusing their efforts locally since the federal government is not going to be doing anything helpful for years.
