It's a holiday on another cat blog I read. Tuck him/her in tuesday! The entire point is that you take a picture of your cat with a blanket on them.

yeah being digested by a cat might get in the way of the serial number being legible or finding over that percentage, but depending on the size of the bills it could be worth trying
if it's cash, and you get what's left, the bank will replace them for you, btw. accidentally cut a bill up once inside an envelope.
something about how upright the cat's sitting? i don't know, exactly. i just looked at the pic before reading the caption and thought "uhoh." the long-term effect of having a cat who'd occasionally piss in the wrong place when she was young, i guess.
