Am American living in Italy. I can't explain it, but Italian drivers are the most aggressive drivers I have ever seen (and I've lived in three different continents). It's odd because getting a driver's license here costs upwards of 800 euros (think about this number in a country where the median income is close to 1,500 euro /mo). Also, the roads are extremely treacherous and narrow, further exacerbating the problem. But every time I get on the road I fear it's my last day on earth.

Lots of big claims but no evidence. It's almost as if you're intentionally inviting a certain narrative...
When the entire global historical narrative is framed exclusively through the lens of the "west is bad" then you remove all agency from every other country. It's a very dangerous and disingenuous tactic of rewriting history.
Man, the hamas apologia is insane here. How about we condemn both sides for being shitheads?
Italian here. Those of us that live in residential historic districts need permits exempting us from additional parking fees. But the way it works is through street cameras that verify license plates. I'm sure they have something similar in Paris.
Nostalgia critic on yt made a good point about death of the author and how it doesn't necessarily apply when it comes to Rollo. It's difficult to separate her from her art because she still profits extensively from the product she created and uses that money to fund anti - trans organizations. It's not so simple as separating the work from the artist in this case.
