Never lived with a woman? Like not even a mom, sister, or aunt?

We had a Lucy. Her name was Lucifer before I met her but bible belt made us call her Lucy at the vet. Solid black, fat. She went from being a very mean cat to friendlyish. Once she got some roommates she hated she calmed. Then she was one of the biggest love babies ever. She lost weight as she aged but would start purring if you looked at her the last few years. Made it to age 18.

We have a BB! I named her Bastet then we found out she was a boy. My wife protested and said we should name him Bast after a cool demon in a book we both read. I argued that she was trans and would call her Bastet.

Well that all got shortened to B or more often BB.

BB has the unusual "snowshoe" pattern. He's also below average intelligence as confirmed by the vet. I don't really want to say what I call him. He's a clumsy menace rather than lithe and graceful like his brother. We love him very much. He walks around with his mouth open and only closes it to sleep so he's obsessed with water. We give him ice cold filtered water and he loves it so much.

My neighbors diagonally across from me feed deer in their back yard. I have a not great photo from a week or two ago, when there were 14 deer in the yard. I think I got 12 in the photo. The bucks usually stay up in the treeline guarding, but this year we have two bucks, probably a couple of two year old brothers, that behave like the fawns and doe. One was 4 point the other was 6 point last time I saw them. They aren't in the photo.

Lemmy is saying can't upload image, let's see if I can fix it.

There we go. 13 of the 14.

Reminds me of my old girl, my favorite cat ever Izzy, who lived to be 18. She died several years ago. I still have a photo of her face on my Microsoft account, so people see it on teams meetings and such. "Is that a monster", no it's a beautiful tortie cat. We loved each other so much.

The piss jug gravy boat made the click worth it.

Some places use specific bags for recycling when put out at the curb.

This is a neighborhood cat that we call little girl. She comes by every evening for pets and to sit in my lap. A man up the street brings her inside at night but I have a heated home for her on my porch. I would love to take her in but keeping her street cat impulses down would be a nightmare. And we already have four cats.

Well it won't let me upload the photo I just took. I'll try to add it later.

I just changed phones so I don't have a good pic maybe I'll post one later. We had two girls make it to 18 so hopefully you still have plenty of time with Shana.

Edit: Here we go this is Bastet. He's half a year old.

She looks a lot like one of my little boys.
