I think the author of the article is making Gygax out to be a bigger misogynist than he actually was. His responses seemed to be edgelord responses because he was tied off being asked the questions not because he was that sexist.

I hate Gygax because his system was all over the place and had no balance.

It also works great as a name. in c/rpgmemes@ttrpg.network

Good luck with that. I've come around on using whatever standard gender pronouns (he/she/they) but with what to me seems insulting (it) and capitalizing... I'll just still to using the proper noun.

You've already lost the battle if you think this way. You show disregard for what other people care for and then expect them to care about your thoughts? Walls instantly go up and no dialog will be had.

Vancian Magic makes me mad 💢.

I'd love to find a classless and leveless system as well written as PF2e.

d20 feels like a decent default to me but I like systems where rolls don't fail but succeed with caveats at least where the PC is attempting to do something.

You are correct. They do this because corporations in the past have sued over even though rules, etc. are fair use. When they first started the OGL they gained a lot of goodwill from the community.
