How many western assets are still unseized in Russia? They already stole all the airplanes.

[–] yesman@lemmy.world 12 points 2 years ago

The funny part about that is that they were leasing the planes along with maintenance contracts. So they've got the planes, but every third one will need to be cannibalized for parts. Then it will be every other plane. Meanwhile, flying on Russian airlines will be more and more interesting as the planes are "engineered" to keep them flying.

Now, Russia has a robust aircraft industry. But just like every other Russian industry, it's kinda busy with other stuff. And flying isn't exactly an optional for moving across Russia's vast territory.

This is going to be a tragedy factory for decades.

I guess a lot. Not much has changed over there, except for a few companies that got hit by sanctions.

Between the "pulp fiction" attributation and the nazi forehead story the other day, I think Putin has been on a QT film marathon recently.

Russia already stole so many assets, is there anything left for them to steal?

Well worth it to watch Russia slowly die.
