Tin foil hat warning, but it is starting to feel like Israel knows it's losing US support for the genocide, so is looking to broaden the conflict to force the US to relock arms with them.

Ps. Why doesn't this source mention that Israel is responsible for this strike, it's reported all over the place I didn't even think it was a question. The JP treats it like some rogue weather event that came out of nowhere.

I really feel it's Iran who's been doing everything it can to broaden the war and make itself a target. But I don't understand why.

This is in response to all their attacks through various proxies such as Houthis, Hamas, Hezbolla, Iraq, Syria, etc.

Honestly, I'd love to see the Islamic Republic fall. I feel terrible for the citizens of Iran who once were some of the most progressive and secular in the region. Sooner the guard and government there are removed the better.
